  Decentralised resource management in Ecuador - Module in the GIZ programme GESOREN
In Ecuador COMO runs module three "decentralised resource management" of the GIZ programme "Gestión Sostenible de Recursos Naturales (GESOREN)". In this COMO project adjusted models of decentralised resource management are implemented in three areas (Tungurahua, Gran Sumaco and El Condor).
     

  Crises prevention and conflict handling in Bolivia - Module in the GIZ programme PADEP
In the GIZ programme for the support of decentralised governance and poverty alleviation (PADEP) COMO runs the module "Crises prevention and conflict handling" in a consortium with Berghof Peace Support and GOPA mbH. The topic increasingly gains importance not only due to the tense political situation that currently prevails in Bolivia.
     
  Structural promotion in the Pakistani Ministry of Women Development for the GIZ
This project encompasses the strengthening of gender-sensitive analysis and planning processes in the Ministry of Women Development and other institutions relevant for the promotion of women on national, provincial and local level (including sector institutions with priority), primarily through human resource development. Furthermore the project contains the conceptualisation, development and supervision of resource centres for female representatives on district level.
     
  Development of a new organisational structure and introduction of a management system in the Ministry of Mines, Energy, Environment and Water in Morocco
COMO - in cooperation with our Moroccan Partner EXCELSUD - implements a process-concomitant consulting of the environmental programme and the project for the conservation of water resources in the two main departments environment and water.
     
  Economic development for poverty alleviation - component in the GIZ-IFAD scheme in Vietnam
Within the GTZ scheme on poverty alleviation in rural areas which is implemented in cooperation with the International Fund for Agricultural Development, COMO - in a consortium with GOPA mbH - runs the componet on-site in the province Ha Tinh. COMO's task is the backstopping for the project's focus topics: integrating the poor into the employment market, developing business services markets and improveming the business and investment climate.
     
  Evaluation of the cooperation in the project "Livable City (LSH)"
On behalf of the Authority of Urban Development and Environment (Behörde für Stadtentwicklung und Umwelt (BSU)) of the Hanseatic City of Hamburg COMO has advised and evaluated the cooperation between public authorities and the management of the realisation of the authority-comprehensive project "Liveable City Hamburg".
     
  Value chain upgrading initiatives and Public Private Partnerships (PPP) - Trainings in South East Asia and Peru
For several international cooperation projects in the Philippines and Laos we conducted training and advisory missions to increase the competitiveness of selected value chains and add value to the local production. We supported local stakeholders and support agencies in defining upgrading strategies based on current weaknesses and market opportunities. more
     
  Consulting, training and backstopping services in the private sector development component of ecbp (GTZ) in Ethiopia
In the framework of one of the largest projects of development cooperation, we support the private sector development component of the "Engineering Capacity Building Program (ecbp)" in Ethiopia. Our process oriented training and advisory services assist GTZ and its partners in setting up and managing regional economic development approaches in 4 regions of the country. more
